Gloria Jean Glover was born in Arcola, Mississippi on August 17, 1950 to Jessie and Zeddie Glover. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, three sisters Willa Rhodes, Jessie Stafford, Vinnie Dunigan, and one brother Charles Glover.
Gloria began her spiritual life early at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was baptized under the leadership of the Reverend C.L. Cody in Grace, Mississippi.
In 1970 Gloria graduated Henry Weather High School in Rolling Fork, Mississippi with honors. That same year she moved to Lawrence, Kansas where she began her work life. Most notedly she spent over 20 years as a certified nurse’s assistant at Presbyterian Manor.
Gloria was a loving and giving person. She always had a happy and beautiful smile. We cherish the time we spent with her and will cherish the memories we have of her.
She had 5 sons Ronnard Green, Shawn Edwards, Tyrone Edwards, Jerome Edwards, Michael Edwards, and 1 daughter Miah Glover all of Lawrence, KS. 7 grand children, 3 sisters Sallie Stafford of Panther Burn, Mississippi, Shirley Glover of Lawrence, KS, Levorn Glover of Milton, W, and 1 brother William Glover of Lawrence, KS, and a special niece Nazaree Doleman of Lawrence, KS
